Rob Zombie has taken aim at Ozzy Osbourne
for stealing his bandmates. Zombie has had to replace drummer Tommy
Clufetos and bassist Rob Nicholson after they quit to join Osbourne's
touring band - and he admits he's not happy with the way the Prince of
Darkness and his manager/wife Sharon Osbourne do business.
The rocker-turned-moviemaker tells the Artisan News Service, "I think
there's ways to do things and I think there's ways to not do things and
I think the way they've chosen to do things is not how I would do
things; I think it's kind of rude."
"I mean, if my guys that I have wanna go play with other people, that's
fine; I don't own them. But I think there's ways to do things in a
respectful way and there's ways to just be s**tty, and I feel that the
way things have gone down lately has been pretty s**tty."
"What comes around goes around. But I'm just happy because every time
I've lost somebody, I've gotten somebody 10 times better, so I'm
thankful for that."

When you see Rob Zombie
live you know what you're getting: a true show. There's going to be
robots, big screens, big lights, and some blood -- and that's exactly
what's been put to film for 'Mars Needs Women.' Noisecreep is stoked to
be presenting this infectious cut from 'Hellbilly Deluxe 2' not only
because this video could cause some epileptic seizures due to the quick
lights and strobe effects, but because the it was compiled during the
Gruesome Twosome Tour featuring Zombie and the original horror showman,
Alice Cooper.

Interview with Rob Zombie: In The Sequel, Mayhem Ensues
Written by theaquarian.com

Few
icons in hard rock and heavy metal have found success in both music and
film. While maintaining a characteristic B-horror movie influence
throughout his body of work, Rob Zombie’s auteur approach to both sight
and sound arguably has no antecedent in the present day entertainment
business.
But he still has trouble.
After a falling out with Geffen Records, his label of about 20 years, for the “sequel” to his best known solo release, Hellbilly Deluxe,
Zombie took his industrial and dance-influenced metal to Roadrunner
Records. It’s largely a continuation of the well-producing yet
sleazy-sounding good time horror-themed hard rock that fans have come
to expect from Zombie, but with a decade or so of time to let it become
new again.
Zombie talks about the record, the ever-frustrating relationship
between heavy metal and record labels, and the joy it was touring with
one of his musical heroes, Alice Cooper.
What’s the presentation going to be for Mayhem Fest?
It is the larger version of what we did with Alice Cooper. That was
already big but this is huge. We have a lot of new gags, a lot of new
everything. It is by far the most elaborate production I have taken out
in a long time.
