1983

  • Rob Cummings (Zombie) meets roommate Tim Jeffs at Parsons School of Design in New York

1985

  • Rob meets Sean Yseult who was also going to Parsons.
  • Rob creates the band name and thus "White Zombie" is born with guitarist Ena Kostabi, drummer Peter Landau and bassist Sean Yseult in October.
  • The band records a demo tape called "White Zombie" which consists of “Black Friday” and “Dead or Alive”.
  • "Gods On Voodoo Moon" 7" EP recorded at Batcave Studios in NYC on October 18th.  0 copies were pressed and released in November.
  • Kostabi and Landau released from the band.

1986

  • Tim Jeffs replaces Kostabi on guitar and Ivan DePrume replaces Landau on drums in January.
  • WZ plays first live gig at CBGB's on April 28th 1986.
  • Rob starts using stage name of Rob Straker.
  • WZ records "Pig Heaven" EP at "6 and 8" Studios in NYC. EP was is released in May.
  • Rob drops out of Parsons School of Design.
  • Tom Guay (Tom 5) replaces Tim Jeffs on guitar.

1987

  • Rob starts using the stage name Rob Zombie.
  • "Psycho-Head Blowout" EP released in May.
  • John Ricci replaces Tom 5 on guitar in July
  • "Soul-Crusher" album released in November.

1988

  • "Make Them Die Slowly" album recorded in November at Platinum Island in New York City.

1989

  • "Make Them Die Slowly" album released on March 22.
  • "God Of Thunder" EP released in October.
  • John Ricci quits the band.
  • Jay "J" Yuenger replaces Ricci on guitar.
  • Geffen Records offers WZ a record deal.

1991

  • "La Sexorcisto" album recorded in May at 321 Studios in NYC.

1992

  • "La Sexorcisto" album released on March 17.
  • "Thunder Kiss '65" single #1 released.
  • "Black Sunshine" single #1-2 released.
  • Ivan De Prume leaves WZ.
  • Phil Buerstatte replaces De Prume on drums for the La Sexorcisto tour.
  • "Nightcrawlers: The KMFDM Remixes" album released on October 6.

1993

  • "Thunder Kiss '65" single #2 released.
  • "Black Sunshine" single #3 released.
  • "I Am Hell" single released and included in The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience compilation album.

1994

  • "Astro Creep:2000" album recorded at NRG Studios in LA.
  • "Children of the Grave" single released and included in the Black Sabbath tribute album "Nativity in Black".
  • "Feed The Gods" single released and included in the Airheads movie soundtrack.
  • "Thunder Kiss '65 [Swinging Lovers Remix]" included in the Brainscan movie soundtrack.
  • Rob and Sean Yseult's romantic relationship ends.
  • Phil Buerstatte leaves WZ.
  • Mark Poland plays drums briefly during a tour of Japan in May.
  • John Tempesta permanently replaces Buerstatte/Poland on drums.

1995

  • "Astro Creep: 2000"  released on April 11.
  • "Electric Head Pt. 2 (The Ecstasy)" singles #1-5 released.
  • "More Human Than Human" single released.
  • "Real Solution #9" single released in Australia.
  • "Supercharger Heaven" included in the Judge Dredd soundtrack.
  • "Blur The Technicolor" included in the Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls soundtrack.

1996

  •  "El Phantasmo And The Chicken-Run Blast-O-Rama" single released.
  • "Supersexy Swingin' Sounds" released on August 15th.
  • "Electric Head Pt. 2 (The Ecstasy)" singles #6-8 released.
  • "I'm Your Boogie Man" single released and included in the The Crow: City of Angels movie soundtrack.
  • "Super-Charger Heaven" singles #1-2 released.
  • ""The One" single released and included in the Escape from L.A. movie soundtrack.
  • "Ratfinks, Suicide Tanks and Cannibal Girls" included in the Beavis and Butthead Do America movie soundtrack on November 15.

1998

  • "Thunder Kiss '65" included in the Bride Of Chucky soundtrack.
  • "More Human Than Human [Jingle Bells Remix] included in the Twisted Metal 3 video game.
  • WZ officially disbanded.

1999

  • "Grease Paint And Monkey Brains" included in the Twisted Metal 4 video game.

2000

  • "Super-Charger Hell: A Tribute To White Zombie" tribute album released on May 9.

2008

  • "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" CD/DVD released on November 25.

2009

  • “More Human than Human” and “Black Sunshine" added to Rock Band video game on February 17.
