The promoters of the
Rockstar Mayhem Festival have announced the complete lineup for this
summer's big tour – with Rob Zombie, Korn, Lamb of God and Five Finger
Death Punch heading up the main stage. Dates and deets linger below the
fold, so flip it over and find out more!
Zombie, whose twice-delayed Hellbilly Deluxe 2 is now slated for release on February 2nd, will be headlining with Korn, who also have a new project (tentatively titled Korn III)
headed for release later this year, which they will be promoting for
the first time on this tour... which, by the way, is also the first
time they've been on the road with Rob in over a decade.
In
addition to top-listed extreme metallers Lamb of God and FFDP on the
main stage, the second tier will feature Three Inches of Blood, Atreyu,
In This Moment and Norma Jean, with Chimaira, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall
and Winds of Plague rounding out the bill on the third stage.
Scheduled
to begin July 10th in San Bernardino, CA, the massive tour will
continue well through the summer, with more dates to be announced soon.
In addition to the featured bands, the show will again feature hardcore
stunts from freestyle motocross maniacs Metal Mulisha, rockin' stand-up
from “Big Jay” Oakerson and the sexed-up variety show Beacher's
Madhouse – plus the usual video game exhibitions and meet-and-greet
sessions with the artists.
Ticket pre-sales begin April 2nd, so be sure to check out the Mayhem site for purchase info and the most current tour itinerary.
